Strategic Capital’s Business Plan BootCamp Gains Nationwide Recognition from Inc Magazine

(Boston, MA) Inc. Magazine included Strategic Capital Resource's Business Plan BootCamp on its list "Directory of Venture Capital and Entrepreneurial BootCamps" in conjunction with the June 2002 cover story in Inc Magazine, "Find the Perfect Pitch". The list is comprised of 14 boot camps and forums across the country where entrepreneurs fine-tune business plans and refine presentations to potential investors. Three out of the 14 BootCamps listed are conducted by Ms. McIndoe and private-labeled through Strategic Capital Resources.

Honored for Contribution to New England Entrepreneurs
Ms. Carrie J. McIndoe, President and CEO of Strategic Capital Resources, Inc. was honored with the distinguished Henry Morgan Award at Boston University Entrepreneurial Management Institute's 7th Annual Recognition Reception. Ms. McIndoe is the founder of Business Plan Bootcamp, a program that works with the University's alumni entrepreneurs who are starting new ventures or who are raising capital for their firms. In collaboration with the University's lead Professor on entrepreneurship Candida Brush, Ms. McIndoe has worked to develop and conduct groundbreaking research about investor perception of entrepreneurial presentations. Boston University's Director of Entrepreneurial Management Institute stated that, "Carrie's efforts to share her experiences, knowledge, and skills with the alumni, students and faculty have been outstanding since her introduction to the School of Management (SMG). Ms. McIndoe has over 10 years of experience at NYSE/NASD firms including Kidder, Peabody & Co., Inc., First Winthrop Corporation, and Beacon Hill Capital. In 1990, Ms. McIndoe has raised capital from private investors and institutions for numerous well-known and emerging growth companies, including Blockbuster Video franchises, Boston Chicken (Boston Market), Marathon Technologies and Boston Duck Tours. She is a licensed securities broker, a graduate of Boston University and has a Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University Extension School. Ms. McIndoe is the member of the Business Advisory Board of Skidmore College and a frequent speaker and guest lecturer at MBA schools and programs throughout the U.S.
